Inspiration
Growing up, I witnessed the struggles of patients facing invasive tests for critical diseases. Especially the one for cervical cancer, where the muscle is scraped out of our vagina. This inspired me to find a non-invasive solution.
What it does
Harnessing computer vision, we developed Aayu. It predicts diseases like brain tumors and cervical cancer. Our goal was clear: revolutionize early disease detection.
How we built it
With the help of deep learning algorithms and computer vision we processed the images taken and clarified them to train our models on them.
Challenges we ran into
The primary challenge was creating a system both accurate and accessible. Fine-tuning algorithms and ensuring user-friendly design were constant battles. Overcoming these hurdles was a testament to our dedication.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
To build one of a kind non-invasive test to diagnose cervical cancer.
What we learned
Through extensive research and learning, I grasped the potential of AI in healthcare. Understanding deep learning algorithms became my key focus.
What's next for Aayu
To incorporate more disease prediction models and eventually implement all the software into hardware to form a medical robot.
