Inspiration While researching by watching videos for an old hackathon project, I found it very irritating that I had to watch entire 20 min videos to extract 1 min of information. What it does Our bot can translate(using a Google translator) youtube videos to a different language and store them in an MP3(using gTTS), as well and shorten video scripts using NLTK(natural language processing) How we built it We built this bot on a short deadline, on replit using python. Challenges we ran into A big challenge we ran into was trying to learn the field of natural language processing on such a short deadline, but we persevered and got through it. Accomplishments that we're proud of Learning to use NLTK and have an understanding of natural language processing. What we learned We learned to install NLTK correctly and the field of natural language processing. What's next for Youtube Translation and Script Shortener Bot Perhaps making it so that the translated audio syncs up with the actual video.
