Inspiration
Our motivation was to create applications for individuals who face challenges with verbal communication, such as those who are autistic, mute, or deaf.
What it does
The application enables users to communicate through buttons. This feature helps them convey their basic needs. It serves as a tool for these individuals to express themselves and evolves with them as they grow older.
How we built it
We utilized Figma tools to create prototypes and sketch out ideas. We used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop the website.
Challenges we ran into
Collaborating on GitHub proved to be difficult. Assigning tasks that matched everyone's capabilities was also a challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully implemented the core functionality of the app. Created customizable buttons that enable users to upload their own images, which are then saved to the dashboard.
What we learned
We learn how to use git actions effectively and incorporate in into our workflow.
What's next for AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
Enhancing the user interface and creating a keyboard that enables users to express their specific desires and needs.
