AaaS Labs (Ask-an-Agent Service Labs) enables developers to talk to their codebase, no matter the size. Our AI Agents automatically scan entire repositories for security vulnerabilities, explain the issues, and guide remediation using interactive flowcharts—all without needing to upload massive codebases to tools like GPT or Anthropic.

Imagine asking:

"What vulnerabilities exist in this repo?"
"Show me the OWASP Top 10 risks here and how to fix them."
"Create a GitHub issue for each problem you find."

And the agent does it—instantly.

💡 Inspiration

With the rise of AI-generated code and sprawling monorepos, software security has become increasingly difficult to manage. Traditional tools struggle to scale, and LLMs often can't process large codebases. We were inspired to create an AI-first, scalable security platform where developers can ask intelligent agents to find, explain, and help fix vulnerabilities across their code and deployed assets—in real-time and at scale.

Throughout the development of AaaS Labs, we explored and implemented:

🏗️ How We Built It

🔐 GitHub Authentication & Secure Repo Access

  • Users log in via GitHub OAuth, with granular repository permissions.
  • AI agents fetch and index the codebase—without uploading it externally—to allow secure local analysis.
  • Every repo gains the “Talk to Your Code” interface: ask about vulnerabilities and receive explainable AI insights and flowcharts.

📌 Example:

A user sets up a workflow for a Node.js repo. Within minutes, it detects hardcoded secrets, explains the risk, and files an issue with a flowchart on fixing the leak.
