Inspiration
I was inspired to create my personal website because I wanted a platform to showcase my talents, passions, and achievements in a way that LinkedIn couldn't provide. I believe in the importance of a personal touch and wanted to express my individuality beyond a professional network.
What it does
My website serves as a digital portfolio that highlights my skills, projects, and experiences. It allows visitors to explore my work, learn about my interests, and understand my journey. I also share insights and resources that align with my passions.
How I built it
I built the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I used a simple code editor to design and develop the site, focusing on creating a clean and user-friendly interface. I integrated responsive design principles to ensure it looks good on all devices and added sections for my projects, skills, and a blog to share thoughts and updates.
Challenges I ran into
One of the main challenges I faced was figuring out how to effectively present my projects and experiences. The initial layout felt cluttered, so I spent time refining the design to make it more visually appealing. Additionally, troubleshooting browser compatibility issues took longer than expected.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am proud of successfully creating a fully functional website from scratch that represents my personal brand. I feel a sense of accomplishment in learning new coding techniques and implementing them to enhance the site. Completing this project has boosted my confidence in my web development skills.
What I learned
Throughout this process, I learned about web design principles, coding practices, and how to structure information effectively. I also gained a better understanding of user experience (UX) considerations and how to create a seamless journey for visitors.
