Inspiration

A2A Health Agent was inspired by the risk of incomplete paediatric health records, especially missing immunizations, unclear implantable device details, and gaps that can affect safe care.

What it does

It uses agent-to-agent coordination to detect missing clinical data, reconcile records, flag safety risks, support preventive care reminders, and route unresolved issues to clinicians.

How we built it

We designed a multi-agent workflow with specialized agents for record reconciliation, immunization lookup, device clarification, preventive care review, privacy controls, and clinician escalation.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenges were handling incomplete records safely, avoiding unsupported clinical assumptions, protecting patient privacy, and making sure agents assist clinicians rather than replace them.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a practical healthcare AI concept that improves record completeness, reduces manual chart review, supports paediatric safety, and keeps human review central to the workflow.

What we learned

We learned that healthcare AI is most valuable when it focuses on coordination, data quality, risk detection, and explainable handoffs instead of trying to make autonomous medical decisions.

What's next for A2A Health Agent

Next, we would integrate FHIR-based data exchange, add consent and audit workflows, connect to immunization and device registries, and pilot the system with paediatric care teams.
