What it does
Connects you with the WDC to learn more about whales and/or to donate. Gives fun facts about whales. The main feature is "Whale Watching" the first and only whale dating website.
How we built it
Step 1: learn html, JavaScript, css Step 2: take a short intermission to cope with the overwhelming amounts of information Step 3: use teamwork to make the dream work
Challenges we ran into
Neither of us knew html, JavaScript, css, or git. Neither of us new a language that the other new.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
There is no way to express in words how proud we are of ourselves and each other. It can only be expressed through the times we stopped typing, looked up at one another, paused... then burst out in happiness, with one of us saying "LOOK AT THIS" and the other saying "I KNOW. I am so proud of us."
What we learned
html, JavaScript, css. Anything is possible; we both learned 3 languages in less then one day. The caffeine infused chocolate is not as bad as we thought it might be.
What's next for A Whale of a Time
A Whale of a Time is happy to announce that they are working on a more interactive user-face.
