The University of Southern California (USC) currently sits in a food desert where fast food chains reign and quality healthy food is not easily accessible. This poses a problem for the low income community surrounding USC and for the students attending the university. A Trader Joe's, due to its affordability and quality, can adequately resolve this problem. Therefore, I used ArcGIS and a set of criteria to best assess where to place a Trader Joe's within a 1/2 radius from USC's main campus.
