Inspiration Our mentors and AI classes fueled our motivation, but the real inspiration came from our desire to tackle complex problems and innovate under pressure.
What it does Our project implements the A* algorithm with heuristics to calculate the most efficient path to a given destination, combining theoretical AI knowledge with practical problem-solving.
How we built it We carefully designed the code to be modular and scalable, enabling parallel processing and clear task segmentation. Every component was crafted with attention to detail, ensuring it could handle the demands of real-world applications.
Challenges we ran into This hackathon pushed us to our limits. From wrestling with unfamiliar frameworks to debugging code in new programming languages, every step was a learning curve. Integrating multiple components into a cohesive system tested our patience and persistence.
Accomplishments that we're proud of Despite the hurdles, we successfully implemented key functionalities of the A* algorithm. Every breakthrough—big or small—was a testament to our teamwork and determination.
What we learned We leveled up our Python skills significantly and gained hands-on experience with AI frameworks. Beyond technical knowledge, we learned how to navigate pressure, collaborate effectively, and adapt to unexpected challenges.
What's next for A to innovate* We’re committed to finishing this project and refactoring the code to make it more efficient, readable, and scalable. Our ultimate goal is to enhance the application with new features and bring it closer to real-world usability.
