Inspiration

Our motivation was to create a quiz game that is both fun and visually engaging. We wanted to blend classic trivia excitement with modern design elements to deliver a smooth, mobile-first experience that players of all ages can enjoy.

What it Does

The app delivers a fast-paced quiz experience with 100+ levels, featuring a circular countdown timer, lively 3D buttons, and clear, readable question cards. It provides multi-screen navigation including loading, home, quiz, and game over screens, all designed with playful animations and responsive layouts.

How We Built It

We leveraged AI-powered design tools like Lovable.dev to build and iterate on the UI quickly. Detailed prompts guided UI generation for each core screen, ensuring a cohesive look while preserving existing game mechanics and backend logic. The final app architecture separates presentation from logic to allow fast UI improvements without risking stability.

Challenges We Ran Into

Deadlines were tight, so we had to balance rapid iteration with high-quality design. Achieving a consistent, responsive design across multiple screens and devices required fine-tuning. We also faced challenges in keeping UI changes separate from core gameplay logic and ensuring smooth animations without performance issues.

Accomplishments That We're Proud Of

We successfully created a multi-screen app with a polished, playful UI that complements deep gameplay. Our use of AI in UI design accelerated development and allowed us to meet tight timelines. The app’s responsiveness and accessibility features ensure a broad audience can enjoy the game effortlessly.

What We Learned

Clear and detailed prompting can dramatically improve AI-assisted UI development. Mobile-first, accessible design principles are essential for maximizing engagement. Separating UI from game logic simplifies iteration and reduces bugs, which is crucial in fast-paced dev cycles.

What's Next for Snoo's Adventure

We are evolving Snoo’s Adventure into a dynamic daily game and social experiment that keeps players engaged every day. Each day presents new AI-generated challenges. Once your Snoo "dies", it's game over for 24 hours. This creates a cycle of repeatability where players will want to come back and get further into the game for the experience we are building for them. Think of it as a living game world, like a Minecraft server, where the experience constantly evolves.

Players will unlock Snoo collectibles as they level up, customizing their personal Snoo with various outfits and accessories. The game will simulate Snoo’s life in bite-sized, 5-minute sessions inspired by BitLife, powered by the Hexels API for stunning pixel art visuals. The ultimate goal is to guide Snoo to age 100 and unlock the ultimate outfit, with countless small prizes and random events to keep the gameplay fresh and unpredictable. There will be "Beta" gifts for early players, such as a Club Penguin inspired party hat; who doesn't LOVE a good party with Snoo?

We plan to integrate randomized scenarios where each day’s challenges shift unpredictably. Players will strategize daily to outlive Snoo's previous run, discovering hidden secrets and humorous easter eggs along the way.

Community-driven elements will include user feedback posts, VIP point multipliers, and real-world prizes funded by r/CommunityFunds including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, bags, stickers, coffee mugs and even a mattress cover. Daily endings will show tombstones reflecting Snoo’s fate and best achievements, deepening player attachment and narrative.

This vision transforms Snoo’s Adventure into a rich, living ecosystem blending strategic gameplay, social engagement, collectible progression, and endless fun that promises years of growth and player delight.
