Inspiration

Lately I’ve heard stories about how bullying, a large problem, often gets overshadowed by schools, and how often in the case of physical bullying teaches and schools turn a blind eye, telling students to deal with it themselves. This causes students to feel unheard and can lead to them never telling someone about them being bullied for a fear of rejection. Bullied students struggle to find the proper community and support they need to be able to gain self esteem and confidence to confront their bullies or to seek out help... thus I thought of A S P I R E.

What it does

A S P I R E uses the core principles of the internet, anonymity and networking To provide bullied students with a community where they can discuss their struggles with trusted adults, other peers, etc, to be able to share their experiences. Students can also get education about other forms of support that they could seek out.

Essentially the community is there to support them and help them relive the burden that might be on them and by being able to talk with others they might gain the confidence they need to talk to a trusted adult and end their bullying issue.

How I built it

I haven’t quite built much yet.... just a basic adobe xd landing page, but I plan on possible expanding on this idea and making it into a functional website.
