Inspiration
Inspired by the SCAMPER method, a technique I often employ to guide brainstorming sessions. This method serves as a cornerstone for my approach, fostering innovative thinking and problem-solving.
What It Does
The application allows users to input a description of an existing problem or business, applying the SCAMPER method to unearth creative solutions. It's designed to open up new perspectives and innovative avenues by systematically exploring seven different aspects of the problem.
How We Built It
The tool was developed using Amazon PartyRock, integrating with Prompt Engineering techniques and leveraging the Claude model. This combination provided a robust framework for implementing the SCAMPER methodology in a digital environment.
Challenges We Ran Into
We encountered performance issues, particularly when multiple widgets were in use simultaneously. To mitigate this, we introduced an "ON/OFF" input feature to control the number of widgets loading at any given time, aiming to streamline the user experience.
What We Learned
The project was an excellent exercise in prompt engineering, demonstrating the power of well-crafted prompts in generating useful and creative solutions. It also highlighted the importance of performance optimization in software development.
What's Next for A Powerful Tool for Creative Problem-Solving
The primary focus moving forward will be addressing the performance bottlenecks identified. We are hopeful that the community will engage with our tool, offering remixes and suggestions that can enhance its functionality and efficiency.
