What it does
A short and simple game that allows the player to make choices to budget and manage their money while also having fun. Also gives overview/advice on how the player managed their money and how to improve their budgeting.
How we built it
"A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned " was built in RenPy game engine in Python programming language.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
This was my first time using RenPy, and I'd like to say the overall project was successful, especially since the entire game was built from scratch in 24 hours.
What's next for A Penny Saved is A Penny Earned
Hopefully there is an opportunity to continue to build upon the current version of the game, including a longer storyline, options to keep track of money, and custom artwork!
