Inspiration
AMorti was inspired by the growing need for individuals to have a comprehensive view of their finances in one place. The aim was to empower users to take charge of their financial well-being, making complex investment processes accessible and manageable.
What it does
AMorti integrates all investment accounts into a single dashboard, allowing users to track their daily expenses, create personal balance sheets, and generate profit and loss statements. Additionally, it offers customizable templates for simulating investment strategies and provides AI-generated financial suggestions to enhance users' portfolios.
How we built it
We built AMorti using a combination of modern programming frameworks and secure API integrations to ensure seamless user experience and data security. Collaborating with financial experts allowed us to incorporate essential features that resonate with our target user base.
Challenges we ran into
One of the primary challenges was ensuring data security and privacy, given the sensitive nature of financial information. Additionally, creating a user-friendly interface that appeals to a diverse audience required multiple iterations and extensive user feedback
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are particularly proud of successfully integrating various financial data sources into one cohesive platform, thus enhancing user convenience. Furthermore, the positive feedback from beta testers regarding the AI recommendations highlights the effectiveness of our innovative features.
What we learned
I learned that the access of data to the multitude of financial apps is not an easy thing to secure, so with users information spread across multiple apps which blatantly refuse to permit communication between one another, which is understandable do to privacy and security, but it seems to shortchange the user.
What's next for A*Morti (Hey Morti)
Next, we plan to introduce advanced analytics tools and real-time market insights to further empower users in their investment decisions. Additionally, we aim to explore partnerships with financial institutions to enhance our service offerings and expand our user base. Permit user suggestions and build a community of contributing devs.
