Inspiration
This was the final project in my intro coding class.
What it does
It provides an easy to navigate course guide of classes in every school at the University of Michigan. The final description page for each course uses the Google Maps API to show the location of the classroom building.
How I built it
I built this in Sublime Text with three partners: Lisa Valkevich, Tiffany Huynh, and Colleen Feola. We used GitHub to share code and Heroku to deploy the application.
Challenges I ran into
Challenges: accessing the API for Google Maps, getting the dictionaries out Michigan's API
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I'm proud of learning CSS, HTML, and Javascript to complete the project.
What I learned
I learned how to build a website and use an API.
What's next for A-Maize-ing Scheduler
This website could be upgraded to include a schedule building feature. Also, more themes for the website can be developed in CSS.
