A.I.S.H.A - A Virtual Assistant

A.I.S.H.A is a virtual assistant which will boost your productivity and reduce your time wasted in typing and click for accessing things on your system. She is still learning and has good potential.

Inspiration

_ Got the inspiration to make this virtual assistant through a web series "A.I.SHA". Another reason to make this virtual assistant was to reduce the time spent on typing, clicking, and finding items on the system._

What it does

_A.I.S.H.A does a number of things.

  • A.I.S.H.A will greet you and give a brief info about herself when you wake her.
  • She can search through Wikipedia, Google, and Youtube on your voice command.
  • On voice command she can open various sites for you like Discord, GitHub, Stackoverflow, etc.
  • A.I.S.H.A can also open desktop applications for you.
  • If you are on a webpage and want to take a screenshot, all you need to do is say "Take a screenshot".
  • She can address some of the problems mentioned in the AutoNation Problem Statement.
  • She'll go to sleep when you say "bye"._

How I built it

_ Currently I'm doing 100 days of code challenge in Python. I applied all I've learned so far and I built it with <3 in python. IDE - PyCharm Libraries used - pyttsx3, speechRecognition, datetime, Wikipedia, os, webbrowser, pyautogui pywhatkit, etc._

Challenges we ran into

There was a bug in pyaudio Had to take help from Stackoverflow to remove the error from pyaudio.

What's next for A.I.S.H.A - A Virtual Assistant

I'll try to address the points mentioned in the AutoNation Problem statement and Add more functionality to A.I.S.H.A. Also, I'm looking forward to build a GUI for A.I.S.H.A.
