Inspiration: We wanted to calculate our grades accurately without the need of a professor.
What it does: basically it different assignments, calculates your average and displays your letter grade
How I built it: Inputs are taken through a java GUI and calculation is done through python which returns the total to Java
Challenges I ran into: Exceptions. Also, running python scripts through java is more complicated than it seems.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: getting it to run. and learning how to use exceptions.
What I learned: how to use exceptions and how to run command line prompts from inside java
What's next for A+ Grade Calculator: improving the GUI and adding more robust calculations
