Inspiration
One of my friends is a transfer who started college online this quarter, and he didn't know about a lot of these resources until we told him about them. Also, for my MentorSEAS mentees, I compiled a useful list of links for them. I feel like every incoming engineering student should be introduced to the helpful resources at UCLA instead of discovering them on their own.
What it does
A compilation of useful links.
How I built it
This is a rather basic (first version?) list of links built with HTML and CSS.
Challenges I ran into
Rather repetitive coding before I worked with classes: I still have a lot to learn though!
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The stylesheet was fun to work with, and the website actually looks presentable instead of the txtfile-look in the beginning LOL
What I learned
link tags and hands-on with style sheets (especially hover features)
What's next for A CS/EE First-Year's Guide to UCLA Engineering
More links and more artistic look (looks kind of like a word document now)
