Inspiration
The city of Oxford - we wanted to highlight the unique architecture in a unique palette :)
What it does
We have built a asymmetrical co-op platformer - One gamer controls the player using WASD controls while another uses the accelerometer from a BBC MicroBit to control a floating box to change the level around the first player
How we built it
step 1. spend 12 hours writing physics engine
step 2. write a custom microbit controller layer
step 3. ???
step 4. profit
Challenges we ran into (more like clipped through)
collision
Accomplishments that we're proud of
the art, the gaming, the vibes
What we learned
probably don't write our own physics engine next time... also the microbit is really hard to use as a controller.
