Opposition Strategy (Team Performance Analysis)

Inspiration

Always have an inclination of interest towards performance analysis.

What it does

This project gives you an analytical dive in team performance (regarding own and opposition performance )

Challenges we ran into

• Data Engineering was the biggest challenge (especially since the data dictionary was not included in the resources) For e.g., it was unclear whether the feature raid_points includes technical and all-out points or is it just a sum of touch + bonus
• Sample size was small. Especially for building opposition analysis. There were a max of 3 matches per opposition.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Managed some solid, robust data engineering
• Visualizations that have come out are very informative and aesthetic
