Just exploring the 3d website making

What it does

A simple zoom out to see the bigger picture in terms of Saturn the planet

How I built it

This was my first time building a 3d website, most of my applied code came from youtube videos.

Challenges I ran into

I ran into many problems with defining my specific pointlight and ambient light function, but couldn't get it right. I wanted to give a textured surface to the torus but had difficulties.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Pretty decent for a first try I'd say. I managed to give the planet it's color with the rings surfaced accordingly. It was an iterative process but I managed to finish this somehow within a few hours.

What I learned

I learnt a lot about THREE.JS, different functionalities that can be used to define a 3D Object.
