Inspiration
We were inspired by the great challenge itself, we imagine how about offering vital services for about 3 million people in a very limited geographical area via a unified platform.
What it does
We are building a complete platform for Hajj to offer many services and solve some use cases, helping both the government and the pilgrims.
We are building a web portal for the management that contains 1- 'Reports' 2- 'Live Dashboard' 3-'Tracking' : Allows spotting any group leader or any pilgrim by his passport no. 4-'Communication Channel' : Let the management send unicast/multicast/broadcast messages/instructions.
And a mobile application, that offers the following services for the Hajj: 1- Feeding the database with the health background. 2- Feeding the database with the dependencies information 3- Tracking the dependencies anytime 4- Sending messages to the dependencies. 5- Find the nearest help person. 6- Lost & Found service 7- SOS
How we built it
We uses a bunch of tools, libraries, frameworks and programming languages: C#, JAVA, ,JS, Bootstrap, JQuery, CSS, HTML5, Visual Studio, SQL server, Android Studio, Figma
Challenges we ran into
The idea seems impossible to be implemented, the project is huge, a lot of screens and sub-screens required to be designed well. At least we will built a working prototype
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have written every letter in the code in the venue, we designed a genuine logo/slogan/splash, each one of us played multi-roles to built an android prototype.
What we learned
We still learning a lot every moment pass while we set in the venue, we really enjoyed each single moment.
What's next for A-034-UHP
We hope to be part of the governmental system in the Kingdom, and to be really ,as we claim, the unified Hajj platform starting from the next Hajj season 1440.
