A project description

Providing food and beverages to pilgrims in traditional way is the main challenge we are working to solve and we tackle waste management as well. Our solution is solving more than one challenge which is Food and beverages, Waste Management and Healthcare. Hoping the solution will provide a value to pilgrims and enhance the overall experience of Hajj.

Elevator pitch:

One solution to cover more than one challenge! We make it our challenge to win the Hajj Hackathon.

Inspiration:

" كلوا واشربوا ولا تسرفوا" " Eat and drink and do not be distracted".

What it does

Provide a platform to catering company to provide food and beverages to pilgrims in a modern and systematic way.

How we built it

We started with a brain storming session to come up with the best ideas. Then we started evaluating these ideas and narrowed it down to one idea. Then we started planning on how we will develop the system in terms of technology and technical stack, followed by analysis on the details of the features, after that we started designing and coding.

Challenges:

we ran into Developing a software for a vending machine was the main challenge since we do not have vending machine. Time management was another challenge since we are building everything from scratch in a short period.

Accomplishments

that we're proud of Everyone has the right to be proud of successes he made. But our team proud of more than one thing. The first one that we get a chance to be part of Hajj Hackathon. Secondly, we are proud of being a part to help our Islamic society.

What's next for The Team (N-001 Motem.مُطعم)

Next, we will provide API to help others interested to communicate with our system and develop their own Vending Machine. Also, based on the information about each pilgrims we’re planning to provide food suggestion feature.
