Inspiration

The fact that from the moment of a call to 911 or 112 (or any other emergency service) will take a lot of time for the operator to send multiple units and the right units there, as well as the fact that you, as a driver, have no idea where an ambulance or another emergency unit is coming from, and where it goes.

What it does

You simply install an app that later will be integrated with Waze. On your app, you will be notified if an emergency vehicle will cross path with you, within a 500m radius. This way, you'll know if you have to STOP, clear a specific lane, or start moving. Emergency vehicles will be assigned automatically by the system, after the operator enables the type and number of said emergency vehicles. Once an emergency vehicle will be allocated, it will enter the "EMERGENCY MODE", meaning that it will have the destination on the phone on the map, and other drivers in a 500m vicinity will get the notification and the path of said emergency vehicle. EXTRA: The civilian will have an option to video call the call center (911/111) via this app, and show that it has an emergency (a child that is not breathing). At that moment, the operator will validate the request and turn the civilian's car (mobile phone as source of location) into a HYBRID emergency vehicle, showing on the map to other drivers just as a regular emergency vehicle. Later in the development, we can provide autonomous DRONES that will sit on top of buildings, ready to take off in <1 second from the allocation, going anywhere in the city in less than 60 seconds, equipped with defibrillators and being able to supply oxygen, until the first paramedic arrives.

Ambulances can select the Hospital that they are going to, sharing with them an ETA ant the ICU with minimum patient information so that the hospital staff can be prepared when the ambulance arrives.

How I built it

Bubble.io - no coding platform. Can deploy the entire system to an undeveloped country in less than 1 hour. Can upgrade developed countries regular 112/911 center in less than 1 day. Apple and Android mobile apps. Unlimited Push Notificaitons Maps
