Inspiration

The idea for 9Lives came from noticing that AI has changed almost everything except education. Learning from a normal AI model feels like learning from a dictionary. It’s helpful, but unstructured, and all your “knowledge” ends up buried in a long chat history. We wanted something different. Instead of a chatbot, we built autonomous AI agents that take raw information and shape it into real lessons, modules, and learning paths without needing any back-and-forth conversation.

What We Learned

We realized that people don’t just need answers. They need structure that actually guides them. Everyone learns differently, and the challenge isnt the information itself, but connecting it in a way that sticks. Even simple rewards and progress tracking helped motivate learners more than we expected.

How We Built It

Right now we’ve chosen 9 subjects, and every piece of content is generated independently by our AI agents. Users choose a subject, and the system automatically creates the syllabus, lessons, quizzes, and progress flow. Because it’s autonomous, the whole experiance stays organized instead of turning into a chaotic chat log. We kept the interface simple and added light gamification to keep things engaging.

Challenges We Faced

The hardest part was letting the agents work on their own while still making sure the content stayed accurate and meaningful. We also dealt with the usual problems like time pressure, bugs, and having to rebuild features several times.

What’s Next

We’re now focused on polishing the prototype, improving personalization, and making the autonomous learning experiance smoother and more adaptive. Long term, we want 9Lives to become a place where anyone can learn anything with a structured path, not a messy conversation history.
