CinemaProof is a new competition-window media-production agent for Agentic Cinema 2026. It is branded from the ©️8x8 by FlashTM8 ⚡️🌎🤖 research lineage, but the pre-existing 8x8 platform is not represented as hackathon-created work.

What it does

CinemaProof compiles a film or episodic production brief into a Production Digital Twin across scenes, continuity, locations, shots, schedule, resources and risks.

The differentiator is the Evidence Graph:

SOURCE → CONSTRAINT → LIVE EVIDENCE → DECISION → CONFIDENCE → OVERRIDE → DOWNSTREAM EFFECT

A director can change a decision — remove a location, lose the VFX budget, move talent, change a scene state — and see the downstream production blast radius before the crew commits.

Live Partner Integration — Parallel

CinemaProof now actively calls the official Parallel Search MCP at runtime. The deployed read-only probe has returned live Parallel web-search results with source URLs, so the partner integration is not README-only.

Parallel gives the Production Twin current, verifiable context for research that can materially affect production planning, such as public safety guidance, location constraints and technical references.

Gemini + Google Cloud

The app imports the official @google/genai SDK. It reports LIVE GEMINI only after a real Gemini response succeeds and otherwise remains explicitly in DEMO MODE.

The contest also requires Google Cloud Agent Builder. That path is treated as a hard submission gate and will not be claimed as complete until it is actually activated and verified.

Judge Experience

  1. Open CinemaProof.
  2. Run Ground Live Evidence and inspect Parallel sources.
  3. Select a director override.
  4. Compile the Production Twin.
  5. Inspect the scene graph, risk topology, continuity plan, shot/schedule plan and override blast radius.
  6. Verify runtime truth labels directly in the interface.

©️8x8 relationship

CinemaProof is a standalone contest project. Verified capabilities can later be adopted into 8x8 Studio → Cinema, while the broader pre-existing 8x8 estate remains prior work.

No token sale, wallet signing, token minting, mainnet action or financial transaction is part of this hackathon app.
