An android application targeted for personal care and hospital management during COVID.

As the pandemic is growing, patients are worried if they can get a bed space, PPE kits, Food, etc., One concern about the impact of COVID-19 on hospitals is ICU capacity. Real-time efficient allocation of beds, ICUs may save many more lives. At present data on real-time hospital bed availability is not accessible to public. It is difficult to find a hospital bed space and what gets even more challenging is the patient service requests to tend to. Every second counts! Similarly, as a hospital staff reducing human - human interaction for resource allocation/requests is necessary to maintain social distancing. We feel a mobile application with all these functionalities would highly help hassle free journey for both. So this app’s primary focus is hospital management during COVID.

Self assessment, COVID-19 positive confirmation from a test centre will help patients to act timely from their home. Then, this app reserves a bed even before they reach the hospital using location API. Once admitted, a requests for other necessities can be raised within the app so the hospital management can consolidate the requests and tend to them in the order of their priority. This keeps hospital management organized and helps the staff and patients to have their needs met with social distancing in practice as every request goes through the app only.

A treatment without hassle can provide confidence to the user and a sense of trust for the community which will make the rest of 2020 easy for us.

What our app can do? 1.A self assessment is a set of questionnaire that helps to identity if user has COVID.

2.After the assessment, they can visit a nearby testing center to confirm.

3.Once the user is COVID positive, they can act fast by registering a bedspace for themselves at the nearby hospital.

4.Once they are allotted a bedspace and taken initial care of, they can request for additional resources like food, PPE kits, water etc., from the app itself.

5.Once a request is raised, the hospital management can consolidate the requests and tend to them in the order they arrive.

6.This keeps hospital management organized and helps the staff and patients to have their needs met with social distancing in practice as every request goes through the app only.

7.Following social distancing, acting fast and being compassionate to others, we can fight against COVID
