PlayMake Music

PlayMake is a program where you can listen to our custom tracks, and you can guess which track is which in our new gamemode Musicle, inspired by the game Wordle created by the New York Times.

Inspiration

The inspiration behind our project was our desire to create custom tracks and have a place to upload them. Additionally, we combined this with our desire for game design to create a mini-game within site.

What it does

This website allows you to play our custom tracks and our guessing game to guess which type of genre the shown music clip is.

How we built it

We used CSS and HTML to create the site, and we used replit.com's codebase

Challenges we ran into

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we were able to create a functional site on such short notice. Additionally, we are proud that we were able to source audio files and create such a complex program with them.

What we learned

From this experience, we gained complex knowledge of HTML/CSS and how it works.

What's next for PlayMake Music

We will continue to develop this program and release its true potential.
