Inspiration
Inspired by learning tools, storytelling challenges, and trippy concept art—I wanted to make a game that feels like you're in a space sim.
What it does
Players solve logic puzzles to unlock size-shifting helmets, shrinking or growing to progress through a futuristic station.
How we built it
Built in Meta Horizon Desktop Editor with TypeScript-inspired logic for clean UI and puzzle flow. Visuals pulled from sci-fi art and roleplay design.
Challenges we ran into
Biggest challenge: making the story intuitive without dumping text. It had to feel like you're learning by doing.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Nailed the immersive sim vibe. The world feels alive—even when you're just solving puzzles.
What we learned
Storytelling is about action, not explanation. Also: TypeScript-style structure made debugging 10x easier.
What's next for 8 Puzzle:: Space Station Shuffle
More levels, leaderboard integration, and maybe a VR version so you really feel tiny.
