Inspiration
There are a lot of colleges in India which require a minimum attendance percentage in order to write their semester exams. But not all colleges provide a detailed attendace report. So, we thought of finding a solution ot this problem so that students can make their own timetables and plan their self studey sessions themselves. This gives them a lot of control over their time.
What it does
The web app we are making is a student app based on the management of attendance of the student in colleges. The app is simple to operate and adequate to maintain bare minimum attendance. There won’t be many confusing questionnaires or several options required to fill. The app will take a concise input and gives on point guidance. Initially, the app will take the total classes in an hourly basis per day. It will display the schedule. Daily the students have to enter the classes they attended as per the schedule of that respective day. The app will start its main function when the attendance goes below the required attendance. Guidance will be provided to the students to push their attendance above the required attendance. If the attendance is less then the user gets notified. It also displays the number of hours that the user can afford to skip. It helps them in managing their schedule according to the leaves chosen
How we built it
This app is biult using HTML, CSS, Javascript, Nodejs, Expressjs, Google api, EJS
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge we ran into was to send data from one webpage ot another for th ewhole week. We tried various methods but none of them seemed to work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to make various elements of this websites using technologies we have never used before. We as a team supported each other and understood that a project can finish only if there is proper team co-ordination.
What we learned
We learned that there is a long learning path all have of us have to tread in order to get our results
What's next for 75
We want make the app fully functional and incorporate features which help students have a better experience.
