7 Deadly Derivatives

Inspiration

This was inspired by the difficulties of calculus and wanting to come up with a way to make learning it more enjoyable.

What it does

The game provides an engaging and fun way to practice derivatives!

How we built it

We built it using P5js, javascript and LaTex.

Challenges we ran into

It was our first hackathon, so we didn't really know how to approach it. Getting started was probably the hardest part.

What's next for 7 Deadly Derivatives

Updating the game to include more equations and monsters as-well as expanding the interface be more geared towards differential notation. For example adding a keyboard within the GUI to allow the player to add the necessary symbols.
