Inspiration

Many people struggle to read social cues or respond confidently in conversations, especially in high-pressure situations like interviews or networking. We wanted to build something that acts like a real-time guide, giving anyone the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.

What it does

6th Sense is a real-time AI assistant that listens to conversations, analyzes basic social cues, and instantly suggests what to say next. It works through a mobile camera and microphone, helping users respond naturally in interviews, social settings, or everyday interactions.

How we built it

We built a web-based app using React, and lightweight browser APIs. The system uses camera input and speech recognition to capture context, then runs a fast, agent-style response engine to generate real-time suggestions without lag. We focused on performance and smooth UI for mobile use.## Challenges we ran into

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Real-time AI in the browser is resource-intensive. Combining camera, audio, and AI caused performance issues, so we optimized heavily and used simulated intelligence where needed to keep the demo fast and reliable.

What we learned

We created a smooth, real-time experience that feels like an intelligent assistant. The system responds instantly, avoids repetition, and works reliably on mobile—making it demo-ready and impactful.

What's next for 6th Sense

We plan to improve real AI understanding, personalize responses, and expand into wearable devices like smart glasses, making real-time social intelligence accessible everywhere.
