Inspiration
We all like eating Chinese food and doing things in under 60 seconds. Half of us are also Chinese.
What it does
A fun arcade game where you have to deliver food quickly by hopping around the various levels.
How I built it
I built it from the ground up in pico-8, a game engine based on Lua.
Challenges I ran into
I had difficulty with collision detection, and with the level design.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The last level was really balanced in terms of difficulty and fun. I am proud of the movement in the game, as well as the music.
What I learned
I learned how to make a platformer and how to make a fun arcade game.
What's next for 60 Second Delivery
We plan on adding more levels, stage variations, food items, and music.
