Why is 6 7 from the JOB useful?

This game allows users to practice hand-eye coordination, as arms need to move at the same pace but in opposite directions. It is also great for those recovering from injury who are looking to improve upper-body mobility. Finally, it is beneficial to those who lead sedentary lifestyles, such as many CS majors, to practice physical movement for overall health.

Inspiration

As a team of first-and second- generation immigrants, we recognize the hardships and sacrifices made to move to the United States. Many would consider it a "waste" if we were to squander the opportunities before us. This game represents one avoiding empl*ym*nt and idling with internet brainrot. Some would even go as far as to consider it "useless". It sure would be a shame if this project were chosen as the most useless hack.

What it does

Users must give the app camera permission. The user plays as a character running as they are getting chased by a j*b. The faster they 6 7 into the camera, the faster the character runs. The job gets faster as time goes on, and the user's high score is recorded.

How we built it

This is built with a trifecta of js, html, and css files as well as a trusty fake-transparent-background png in the Antigravity IDE.

Challenges we ran into

Nothing as challenging as finding a j*b. We first wanted to make this in Snapchat Lens Studio, but the hand tracker was not adequate for the speed of 6 7 ing that we were aiming for. Then, once we switched to a web app, we struggled to find a UI design that represented the spirit of the game well.

What we learned

We learned that sometimes, we don't need to take ourselves so seriously. While others are chasing a dollar bill on a fishing line, we are using that fishing line to fish.

What's next for 6 7 from the JOB

Let's see YOU 6 7 from the job.
