What it does

The cube runs 3D animations and displays text

How I built it

125 LEDs where multiplexed between columns of LEDs and ground wires to form an indexable cube which is then run using the Arduino LED cube library to animate and control the LEDs from an Arduino Mega

Challenges I ran into

Over 300 soldering joints were used to connect uninsulated wire for form a matrix of wire

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Having precision soldered all components by hand as well as preventing short circuits in the cube
