Another update. Apparently ffmpeg saves .ts files in the same folder with .m3u8 files. Very clever. I'm able to upload to youtube, generate .m3u8 and .ts files but there are few things still left. But generally, I have everything that's needed to stream a canvas to youtube directly from your web browser.
