Inspiration

We thought that with our actual knowledge this project was the most affordable and could make us learn lots of new things.

What it does

This project's aim is to advance towards a predictive system that ensures supplies on site preventing stockouts, as well as unified purchases for several months of supply and between several units, leading to less CO2 emissions due to transportation.

How we built it

We built a prediciton model in order to predict next year's sales.

Challenges we ran into

At first we found several problems, as we never worked with this type of data. We had to learn how to work with dataframes and using a linear model as well. Another setback that couldn't be solved is the lost of data in order to achieve more accuracy on the model and vice versa.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The fact that we learned new programming tools and to organise such challenges is enough for us to be satisfied and looking forward to enrole next year.

What we learned

We learned to work under these exhaustive and demanding guidelines, as well as lots of new programming tools that we never used before and found really useful.
