Inspiration

It would be nice to be able to transform the world around us into an imaginary world where we can find greater balance in mind and body.

What it does

An app that transforms the real surrounding environment into an imaginary scenario where the sensorial experience becomes real and leads to an improvement in the psycho-physical state.

How we built it

Using the PICO Sense and Interaction Pack libraries, the user can, by modifying the scene in front of him, by moving objects in his view, generate a substitute virtual scenario which will effectively project him into an imaginary world, but which can still be manipulated in the real world. With a transparency effect, the images of the real world are gradually superimposed by the immersive imaginary reality to facilitate a state of well-being in the user. In practice the interface is the real world, which can actually be modified with voluntary gestures, moving objects and positioning them in one's field of vision These real objects are recognized by the app and anchored to virtual elements of the scenario that is being built and in which you will immerse yourself. The objects of the real world serve only for the initial setting of the imaginary journey, because after the initial setting, the real images are replaced by virtual ones.

Challenges we ran into

The virtual images of the trip may be moving but the user will have to make sure they are lying down in a safe environment to avoid getting involved in the new reality in which they are projected. Real world objects serve as a trigger to configure the arrangement of the imaginary world, so physical interaction with objects is the way to manipulate the imaginary world.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

For now it's just an idea to simplify interaction as much as possible and make the interface essentially non-existent as it is replaced by interaction with the real world. Just wear a PICO 4 with the 432Hz app and choose one of the 10 levels of reality to immerse yourself in, to see environments around you that are increasingly ethereal and distant from the reality that surrounds us. Volume on Pico devices can be controlled on the bottom left corner of the headset, but the app initially uses it to select the level of reality in which to immerse yourself, transforming the volume control into a physical interface for the choice.

What we learned

Trying to create an interface that is essentially non-existent because it is simplified to the max is the best way to use the extraordinary technology condensed into a PICO system.

What's next for 432Hz

The next step is to actually create the app to verify that the idea works in the real world too. Users who seek their own well-being will not want the complications of technology and this is why the interface is essentially eliminated. Furthermore, the name of the app comes from the frequency that is most in tune between the world and the physiology of the human body.
