💡 Inspiration
We wanted to explore how AI can creatively interpret human emotions—not through logic, but through symbolic, surreal visuals. What if your emotional chaos became a creature?
🛠️ What it does
Users type in an abstract or messy sentence about how they feel. The system parses it and generates a unique, strange creature that represents that feeling. The result is visual, expressive, and shareable.
🔧 How we built it
We built a web app where user input is mapped via hardcoded logic to visual prompts. Image generation is powered by local AI tools, simulating symbolic interpretation. The frontend enables sharing and display.
🧱 Challenges we ran into
The hardest part was encoding emotional ambiguity in a fun and visually expressive way. Without advanced APIs, we had to creatively simulate abstraction with handcrafted mappings.
🏆 Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created a working prototype that turns daily emotional noise into playful, surreal creatures—and made it delightful and shareable in just a short hackathon timeframe.
📚 What we learned
Symbolic, emotional AI doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to feel human. Creative abstraction can be more engaging than accuracy when it comes to emotion.
🔮 What’s next for Feeling Creature Tales
We plan to integrate LLMs and image diffusion models for deeper text understanding and richer visuals, build out a creature evolution system, and add a social layer with meme-sharing and PvP emotion battles.
