Inspiration

BBC headlines about grads applying for hundreds of jobs like it’s a full-time hobby/mixed with the creeping suspicion that the employment system has gone full defence-contractor...

What it does

Treats job-hunting like a national crisis, complete with earnest correspondents/bureaucratic absurdity and a pair of solid Brass Eyes.

How we built it

AI-generated visuals stitched with newsroom pacing. Real broadcast structure with an AI presenter, correspondent, field package, post-analysis. A production pipeline built on rapid prototyping with image/video models and editorial-grade scripting.

Challenges we ran into

Finding the line between satire and actual job-hunting reality… which turned out to be razor-thin. Making the world’s bleakest topic still feel funny.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Creating a news piece that feels uncomfortably believable. Nailing the tone so well people genuinely ask, “Is this real?”

What we learned

AI has left the valley.
