Inspiration
we have thought this by seeing the waste plastics (recyclable) that is being scattered all around contributing pollution to the environment.
What it does
it basically gives a tempering temperature to the waste multi-layered plastic that just gets melted and again compress and cools down in the form of a shape.
How we built it
We basically used an extrusion principle that uses a screw mechanism to push the hot material forward and it gets converted into desired shapes with the help of the die's. Also we are connecting this with IOT modules to automate these things with respect to temperature. Also a website that has our listed products (merchandise) and other decoration items. Apart from this from that website we can too buy and sell the waste products from households...process them and then selling them to specific industries.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into different challenges like making such a working website, Finding and trying codes of the respective modules.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of that we have successfully done and rendered all the designs on solid-works also done the ANSYS (force and stress) reports individually. Also apart from this we too have made the main extruder unit but still working on the crusher.
What we learned
We have learned more tools for the design analysis in Solid-works, most importantly we have learned to get hands on with ANSYS software.
What's next for 3re'(s)
we have our future plans and are thinking of to implement them by 5-6 years. those are:- modifying machines so that they sort off waste individually. collaboration with the ideas of smart dustbins. chemically reacting and making out more stable products. making machines fully automatic based on IOT.
