Inspiration
My goal for the hackathon was to find a way to view oneself in the third person. There was no documented method on how to achieve this so I wanted to document my findings.
What it does
It provides information on how to setup 3rd person VR and knowledge from the research I conducted.
How we built it
An Oculus Quest 2 was used as the headset and Unity was used for Coding test parts.
Challenges we ran into
Minimal to no documentation was available on how to accomplish it. I was one of the first to attempt this.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I made good research progress on it and made it available on a Git Repository so others can use it. I was able to get a third person VR working prototype.
What we learned
I learned about VR development and about the VR industry.
What's next for 3rd Person VR
I would want to work on advancing it and making an AR game compatible with it.
