Inspiration

Observing that many AI assistants lack a personal touch, we envisioned a 3D Real-World AI Assistant.

Our goal

To create an AI that not only simplifies tasks but also enriches interactions, making them feel more human and immersive.

What it does

Our AI Assistant, Jemi, elevates user interaction with technology by:

  • Conversational Proficiency: Engages in natural, expressive conversations, blurring the line between human and AI communication.
  • Visual and Emotional Interaction: Represents you with an avatar that interacts visually and shares emotions, enhancing the connection.
  • Task Management: Utilizes its LAM model training to efficiently handle a variety of tasks.
  • All-in-One Capability: Manages calls, video calls, and offers a unique 3D video calling experience.
  • Enhanced Email System: Simplifies email management with personalized templates for professional and automated communication.

How we built it

The development of Jemi involved a multidisciplinary approach, combining expertise in AI, 3D modeling, and user interface design. We utilized LAM model training to enhance Jemi's task handling capabilities and integrated advanced natural language processing to facilitate conversational interactions. Development was iterative, ensuring that each feature was optimized for user engagement and functionality. And we are hoping to add many more features in the future such as Widgets, face and body tracking system to interact with others through the Jemi’s socializing tools, a Model Library and a configurator, a Personalised news reporter, More advanced business tools etc…

Challenges we ran into

  • Technical Complexity: Integrating diverse technologies such as AI, 3D modeling, and real-time -- emotional response systems presented significant technical challenges.
  • User Experience Design: Crafting an intuitive and engaging interface that seamlessly blends all functionalities into a cohesive experience.
  • Scalability: Ensuring that our assistant could handle simultaneous interactions across multiple platforms without compromising performance.

And we are continuously working to improve these three points.

What we learned

What's next for Jemi

  • Customized Characters: Plans to offer personalized avatar choices to cater to diverse user preferences.
