Inspiration
We recently bought a 3D printer as a hobby but there is no current way of monitoring the print while it's running (other than just standing there) As some prints can run for days on end, we need a solution that will monitor the printer to ensure:
- The print is going well
- no print issues occur
- Overheating is not taking place
- Pre warning / action if a disaster happens (like a fire)
The solution should both manage the print (automated events) and also provide online feedback / monitoring.
What it does
The solution will track both from inputs from the printer, heat sensors and cameras to track the print. if all is well, we have a video diary of the print and a check to see how well the settings worked through the print.
If anything happens, the print can be manually or automatically stopped with the extra possiblity of deploying a fire defense system should the worst happen.
