Inspiration

I like DIY projects, and table lamp is essential in any working space.

What it does

Programmable brightness, mode, color, and breathing effect.

How we built it

LED soldering, Making custom cable using standard connectors ABS 3D printing the housing MP Lab for coding/programming the microcontroller open-drain method for controling series-connected LEDs Use 5 V use input, boost DC/DC converter to power LEDs

Challenges we ran into

warping issue during 3D printing

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I done all this by myself in 24 hours, and met lots of friends

What we learned

Nothing is easy in Hardware/Software mixed project When 3D printing ABS, bed temperature is crucial, the environment should be controlled to avoid ABS shrinkage in the later process
