What it does
Our team plans to create real-time 3D mapping mobile application that makes use of AWS Wavelength for ultra-low latency. The app will be used in conjunction with the Lidar sensor present on an iPhones and iPads and uses AR to provide a drag and drop experience for various 3D models offered by product manufacturers to the room. A 3D room model can be exported and quick saving to the cloud is what we aim to do with this low latency offered by 5G and wavelength zones. What we plan to do is also allow collaborative editing to this, allowing remote viewing of a customers room and placing of objects (only when in use).
