Inspiration
We are a center dedicated to empowering neurodivergent individuals through specialized training programs and meaningful employment opportunities. Our current focus includes a group of talented candidates trained in Multimedia, Graphic Design, and 3D Design.
One of the biggest challenges we've encountered is simplifying the graphics workflow to make it more accessible and intuitive for neurodivergent students. In our search for the right solution, we came across Bolt, which shows great promise.
Our goal is to build a centralized, easy-to-use design library where students can independently upload, organize, and manage their graphic design assets. This system would not only streamline their creative process but also promote confidence, autonomy, and collaboration.
What it does
The app helps maintain a 3D model library, enabling smooth and efficient deployment. It allows our neurodivergent students to manage and access their designs with just a few simple clicks.
How we built it
We built the app using Bolt, with a React frontend and Supabase as the backend database and storage solution.
Challenges we ran into
One of our biggest challenges was time. We needed to develop a centralized application for our Creative Labs to keep everything organized and easily accessible. Bolt enabled us to achieve this efficiently, helping us build and deploy the app in a remarkably short time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully developing and launching the app itself is a major accomplishment. It marks a big step forward in simplifying creative workflows for our neurodivergent students.
What we learned
We learned how to leverage existing technologies to address key challenges and create practical solutions tailored to the needs of our neurodivergent students.
What's next for 3D Library Database
Next, we plan to expand the application by integrating a 2D graphic design library within the same platform. We also aim to improve the 3D preview functionality and implement automatic thumbnail generation for 3D models to enhance the user experience.
