Inspiration
With everything around us becoming more and more efficient with the use of computers, finding library books should be part of this too.
How it works
You search for the book you want on the app, select one that is in the library, then the app will have a 3D map of the library to guide you to your selected book.
Challenges I ran into
Although my computer is mildly decent, I my render time for the demo video took too long (5 minutes a frame w/ a total of 280 frames) so i decided to just use still renders of parts of the animation.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I was able to create a fictional 3D map of a library in 2 hours.
What I learned
I learned not to procrastinate and not to give up.
What's next for 3D Library Book Finder
Creating a functional 3D map of my local library and cataloging every book and its location.
