Inspiring Story / Inspiration: Modern websites often feel flat. Our goal was to create a futuristic, interactive 3D spatial experience using Three.js and WebGL without sacrificing mobile performance. What it does: AURA 3D renders an interactive glowing 3D wireframe core suspended in a particle starfield. Users can drag/touch to rotate the object in real-time, and clicking the action button triggers a dynamic bloom-lighting burst. How we built it: Built using Three.js for 3D graphics, WebGL postprocessing for bloom lighting effects, HTML5/CSS3 glassmorphism for UI overlay, and custom JavaScript for touch/mouse interaction handling. Challenges we ran into: Optimizing real-time postprocessing bloom effects to maintain a smooth 60 FPS performance on both desktop and mobile screens. Accomplishments that we're proud of: Delivering a fully responsive, visually striking 3D experience contained entirely in a lightweight, single-file architecture. What we learned: Advanced Three.js vector transformations, WebGL postprocessing techniques, and responsive 3D viewport design. What's next for AURA 3D: Adding custom 3D model loaders (.GLTF), spatial audio, and WebXR/VR support.
