Inspiration
Our team was inspired by 'BeReal' and 'Forest' app which are popular apps that proved to be effective in attracting younger users.
What it does
We will be addressing problem statement 2 to ease the maintenance of HDB carpark without the need of a lot of manpower. PetPark users can report any problem regarding their estate’s HDB carpark anytime with our app in just a few clicks. After reporting the problem, the maintenance team will receive a notification about the reported problem, which are categorised accordingly, so that they can take immediate action. As the service requests made are categorised, it also helps to improve the efficiency of the maintenance team in addressing the issues. PetPark ntegrates a “BeReal” type of challenge to attract the residents especially teenagers to frequent their carparks and take ownership of the wellbeing of the estate.
In addition to this, PetPark also has a pet feeding minigame to attract users to use our app. We will have a list of challenges that is updated monthly for the users to complete and gain experience to feed their pets. This form of entertainment serves to attract residents who do not frequent carparks, especially those without vehicles.
Our app also serves as a way to cultivate community spirit through the use of leaderboards which encourages a competitive spirit in carpark maintenance.
